MODELLING GOOD PRACTICE OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS

When done well, public-private partnerships (PPPs) are a win-win for all involved, facilitating shared sectoral intelligence, learning and innovation.

Partnership guidance

Dakchyata is working with the government to develop guidance and tools on PPP approaches. We are also grant-funding PPPs across Nepal to capture learning on good practice in a range of areas including planning and financing and school-led employer engagement.

Governance guidance

The learnings from the grant projects will feed into the guiding document for TVET PPP approaches, which will make recommendations for improving employment outcomes through TVET skills development. Dakchyata is also conducting an annual review to monitor progress in the TVET sector and to identify areas for the sector’s future attention.
